How do I add a new pet profile?
Open the app, tap the "+" button on the "My Fur Babies" tab, fill in your pet's details (name, species, birthday or adoption day), and tap "Save". You can add up to 2 pets on the free version, or unlimited pets with Pro.
How do I record a Moment for my fur baby?
Go to the "Moments" tab, tap the "+" button, and choose "Blank Moment" or "Use Template". Fill in the title, body, select your pet, and optionally add a mood, location, and photos. Templates like Vet Checkup or Training Session come with pre-built fields for faster logging.
How do I save a custom wallpaper to my iPhone?
Go to the "Wallpaper" tab, choose from 3 templates (Journey Grid, Reminder, or Age Card), customize with your pet's photo and color scheme, then tap "Save to Album". Grant photo access if prompted, and the wallpaper saves at 1080×2340 HD resolution to your Photos app.
How do I add the widget to my lock screen?
On your iPhone, long-press the lock screen, tap "Customize", select the lock screen area, tap "Add Widgets", find "Fur Baby Companion", and choose the inline or rectangular widget. Tap "Done" to save. The widget updates automatically at midnight to show the latest age and days count.
How do I export my Moments?
In the Moments tab (list view), tap the checkmark icon to enter batch selection mode. Select the records you want, then choose "Export" — you can export as PDF (A4 booklet), Image Collection (social media style cards), or JSON (data backup). Share via any app.
I purchased Pro, how do I restore my purchase?
Open the app, go to the "Settings" tab (gear icon), and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Pro. Your subscription will be verified and restored automatically.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
You can manage your subscription directly in the app: go to "Settings" and tap "Manage Subscriptions" to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. You can also manage via your Apple ID: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Fur Baby Companion.
How do I request a refund?
If you believe you qualify for a refund, you can submit a request directly to Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID, select "I'd like to request a refund," choose the reason, and follow the steps. Apple reviews and processes all refund requests according to their policies.
What species are supported for age conversion?
The free version supports 5 species (dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster). Pro unlocks all 9 species including parrot, ferret, reptile, and custom species. Age conversion uses official veterinary guidelines (AVMA, ARBA, AAV) — not the simplistic "1 year = 7 human years" rule.
